Victorian Rose Gold finely Etched Oval Locket
Rose Gold Victorian Locket with extreme level of details in the two facets carving. It has a different design on both facets and features flowers, foliage and a plain cartouche.
The locket went for X-ray analysis, it is made of an unusual alloy, with 28% of gold, 28% of silver and 44% of copper.
The locket weights 8.2g so contains 2.25g of gold. The large copper content creates the rose gold color.
Condition:
The locket is in excellent antique condition, with no dent and only gentle surface wear and scratches. It closes tightly.
Inside the two original rings are present.
It does not come with a chain.
