Mid-century 18k Gold Swedish Rock Crystal Ring
Statement Swedish ring with a large natural faceted clear quartz.
Sweden is famous for its modernist jewelry style in the 50s, that ring is one example.
The quartz has a rectangular emerald cut and is held with four prongs. Lovely ornate shoulders on both side of the stone extending along the shank. This stone catches the light beautifully, glowing from within with a radiant, white brilliance.

Details:
The ring was manufactured in Sweden. Inside the shank one can find several stamps including the maker mark "GD & C", the Swedish three crowns hallmark, the gold purity stamp "18k", and the year letter D9. D9 corresponds to 1954 in the Swedish hallmark system.
Condition:
The ring is in very good vintage condition, with gentle surface wear. Please inspect the photos and video.
