Art Nouveau Gold Locket with two faceted ruby pastes
Beautiful Art Nouveau locket with fine engravings and two red rhinestones.
The two faceted ruby pastes are hanging from a decorative hand-carved motif at the top of the locket's front facet. The back of the locket is plain.
Details:
The locket dates from the Art Nouveau era, 1900s. It is not stamped and likely made of a gold plated metal.
Condition:
The locket is in excellent antique condition, with gentle surface wear and scratches. No dent that I can see. Inside the two original rings and celluloid covers are present. It closes tightly with a snap.
The bail is original and soldered.
The locket does not come with a chain.
