Belle Epoque 18k Gold Limoges Porcelain Brooch-Pendant with natural pearls
One-of-a-kind French brooch/pendant featuring a Limoges porcelain oval cabochon set in a 18k yellow gold mount with natural pearls. At the back a pin and a jump loop such that the piece can be worn as a brooch or pendant.
A lady holding a basket to collect wheat is hand-painted in the porcelain.
The vibrants colors complement the intricate mount and together creates a very unique design.
Perfect bezel setting with milgrain.
Details:
The pendant dates from the 1900s. It is stamped with the French hallmark for 18k gold, the eagle head, at the C clasp.
Condition:
The piece is in excellent antique condition.
It does not come with a chain.
