Art Nouveau horseshoe locket with ruby pastes
Lovely Art Nouveau locket with two beautiful ruby pastes.
Round in shape, the locket is decorated at its front surface with swirly lines and ruby pastes typical of the Jugendstil era. The lucky symbol of the horseshoe is hand-engraved on top of the front panel. The back of the locket is plain.
Details:
The locket is from the 1910s. It is not stamped and likely made of a gold plated metal.
Condition: The locket has no dent and is in excellent antique condition. The outer gold plating is in great shape with no noticeable gold plating loss.
It opens from the top, and shuts tightly with a snap.
The locket does not come with a chain.
