Romantic Floral Enamel Locket with vibrant colors.

The locket has white guilloche enamel work on the front facet. Three Roses in two shades of pink are painted on it together with their stems. The back is plain.

Guilloché enamel is a decorative technique that involves engraving intricate, repeating patterns onto a metal surface, typically using a lathe. The engraved pattern is then covered with translucent enamel, allowing the design to show through, creating a luminous and textured effect.

Details:
The locket dates from the Art Deco era, 1920s. It is not stamped and the metal is likely silver.

Condition:
The locket is in very good antique condition. The enamel is well preserved with no chips, and some gentle surface wear and scratches, please inspect the photos. It closes tightly.
