Details:
The pendant dates from the 1970s. It is stamped with the French hallmark for 18k gold plating at the jump loop.
French vintage and antique platings are typically made of 20 to 40microns of 18k gold while nowadays only 3 to 5microns is enough for a jewel to qualify as gold plated. Vintage/Antique jewels holding the French stamp for gold plating like this one are therefore robust and meant to last, they often show very little wear, even after 100 years !

Condition:
It is in excellent vintage condition, with no visible signs of wear or gold plating loss.

The pendant is sold with a new 50cm / 20" gold filled chain that is stamped 14-20GF at the clasp. The chain is the one shown in the photos.
