Terms and Conditions

1. Website Publisher

This website is owned and operated by Thalie Vintage - Simonette Pierrot. Throughout the site, the terms "Thalie Vintage", "seller", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Thalie Vintage - Simonette Pierrot. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all business relations between Thalie Vintage and its customers. By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Thalie Vintage reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with such amendments applying to future transactions only.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, photographs, logos, graphics) is the exclusive property of Thalie Vintage, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction, display, or distribution of these elements, even in part, is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.

3. Data Protection (GDPR / LPD)

In accordance with Switzerland’s Federal Data Protection Act (FADP), all information collected through our forms (contact, newsletter, orders) is treated with the utmost confidentiality. It is used solely for the purpose of processing your requests and orders and will never be shared with third parties without your consent. For more information, please view our privacy policy.

4. Shipping

Products available in the seller's warehouse are processed promptly upon receipt of an order. Delivery times vary depending on the country of destination. For international shipments, a typical delivery time is between 5 and 15 business days. All stated delivery periods are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance, or other factors beyond the seller's control do not entitle the buyer to cancel the order, refuse delivery, or claim compensation. The buyer remains obligated to accept delivery once the goods become available. Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination country, total goods value, and package weight. The seller will provide tracking for all orders.

5. Shipping Insurance

For goods valued under $500, buyers can choose between two delivery methods: Post or UPS. Post is the most economical option, but items are uninsured. Conversely, UPS includes insurance covering the full value of the goods. If the buyer selects Post, they assume all risk for loss or theft: no refund or financial compensation will be provided by the seller. We recommend choosing an insured shipping method.

For goods valued over $500, delivery is handled exclusively by DHL, which includes full insurance.

6. Payment

Payment for goods must be made in advance and in full before the seller processes and ships the order. Orders are not considered confirmed until payment has been received by the seller.

7. Payment Fees

The buyer is exclusively responsible for any third-party financial fees associated with their chosen payment method. This includes, but is not limited to, foreign transaction fees, currency conversion charges, applied by your bank or credit card provider. These fees are determined entirely by the buyer's financial institution and will not be reimbursed by the seller under any circumstances.

8. Customs and Import Taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, or import taxes that may apply in the destination country. By completing a purchase, the buyer commits to pay all such charges that may be assessed upon receipt of the goods. Under no circumstances will the seller assume these costs, nor is the buyer entitled to refuse payment.

9. Return Policy

We offer a 7-day return policy for domestic purchases within Switzerland, provided the items are returned in their original condition and packaging. Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days following the receipt of the returned item.
For international orders, please note that import VAT and customs duties paid to local authorities are generally non-refundable. Due to the high financial impact and administrative complexities of international returns, all international sales are final. We strongly encourage international customers to carefully review product descriptions, examine all available photographs, and contact us with any questions prior to purchase. You can reach us using the contact form at the bottom of this page or by email at thalievintage@gmail.com in case of questions.
If you experience any issues with your order, please reach out to us. We remain committed to customer satisfaction and are open to reviewing return requests on a case-by-case basis.

10. Allergy Notice

Please review the material specifications carefully before purchasing. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to ensure they (or the person they are gifting the jewelry to) do not have any known sensitivities or allergies to the metals or materials listed. If you or the intended recipient have a known metal allergy, please reach out to us prior to purchasing so we can assist you and confirm suitability. By completing a purchase, the buyer acknowledges that the seller cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions or skin sensitivities resulting from the use of our jewelry.

11. Legal Notice
