Antique 9k Gold Lavalier Pendant with Turquoise, Seed Pearls and Garnet

Victorian lavalier pendant in 9ct gold with gemstones.

The pendant features two Garnets, six turquoise cabochons, and three seed pearls. The central Garnet has a multi-facet round cut and a deep red color. The bottom one is pear-shaped and purple. Both are bezel-set and the middle one with milgrain.

The lavalier style was popularized by the Duchesse de la Vallière, a mistress of King Louis XIV of France. It can be recognized from its drop, usually consisting of a stone and/or a chandelier pendant.

Details:
The pendant is from the 19th century, Victorian era. It is English made. It is stamped 9ct at the back.

Condition: 
The pendant is in excellent antique condition. One small seed pearl is missing at the bottom, please inspect the photos.

The pendant does not come with a chain.
