Wonderful Art Nouveau Locket in repoussé from the brand W&H Co.
The front features a lady in repoussé with acanthus leaves in her hair and rhinestones. The back is plain.

W&H Co. refers to the Wightman & Hough Company, a historical American jewelry manufacturer famous for its high-quality antique lockets.
Established in 1856 in Providence, Rhode Island, Wightman & Hough Co. operated until the 1920s. They became highly regarded throughout the Victorian, Art Nouveau, and Edwardian eras for their fine craftsmanship in lockets, medallions, and seals.

The locket is stamped with the W&H Co logo inside and is made of gold filled.
Condition:
It is in good antique condition with clear signs of age which are part of the charm of that piece. If you don't like a vintage look, that piece is not for you.
The glass rhinestones appear to be all original.
The gold filled surface has patina, oxidization and gold plating loss, please inspect the photos.
The locket closes tightly.
The locket does not come with a chain.
