Art Nouveau Rose Gold Locket with Ruby Paste Clover and Monogram

Beautiful rose gold locket from the Art Nouveau era.

A clover with ruby paste stones decorates the front. At the back the monogram "DHC" is hand-engraved. Note that the letters are on top of each other, so can be read in various order.

Details:

The locket is from the Art Nouveau era, early 20th century. It is stamped "UNION" and an additional symbol, possibly a maker mark, at the jump loop. I believe the locket is made of a gold plated metal.

Condition:

It is in excellent antique condition with light surface wear and scratches. There is no dent that I can see. The two original rings are present, ready to hold your photos. It closes tightly with a snap.
