Art Nouveau Gold Locket with faceted Ruby paste in a heart inlay

Beautiful and well-preserved Art Nouveau locket with fine engravings and a ruby paste in a heart-shaped inlay.
It has a rosy gold color and semi-matte finish.

Details:
The locket dates from the Art Nouveau era, 1900s. It is not stamped and likely made of a gold plated metal.

Condition:
The locket is in excellent antique condition, with only very gentle surface wear and scratches. No dent. Inside one of the original rings and celluloid covers are present. It closes tightly with a snap.
The bale is original and soldered.

The locket does not come with a chain, if you need one please reach out.
